This multi-center, multi-national, open-label extension study is expected to generate long-term safety and tolerability data for (oral) simufilam 100 mg twice daily over 52 weeks. Overview of On-going Phase 3 Clinical Program
Our Phase 3 program consists of two double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled studies of simufilam, with an enrollment target of approximately 1,750 patients with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease. Both Phase 3 studies have Special Protocol Assessments (SPA) from the
Simufilam, an investigational drug, is Cassava Sciences’ proprietary, small molecule (oral) drug that restores the normal shape and function of altered filamin A (FLNA) protein in the brain.
